Bear Kiss - Ver. 1

12" wide, 10.5" tall, 17" tall with chain.

This piece is made using traditional mouth blown antique sheet glass made in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, WA, from Fremont Glass.

Antique sheet glass refers to the way that the glass sheets are made: the process includes blowing a cylinder, cooling, cutting it, followed by heating and flattening into a sheet, then reflattening on both sides. Glass has been made in this method for about 1000 years.

It takes 2 days to complete one sheet of Fremont Antique Glass. Approximately 14 sheets of glass are made per day.

NOTE: The colors look different, depending on the lighting! (see photos).

- All pieces are handmade individually, and have slight imperfections and differences. Glass can have textures, bubbles & imperfections and this is common.

- The metal contains lead, please wash hands after handling.

- Please do not use suction cups when hanging, they will eventually fail! I recommend screw in "cup-hooks" directly into window moulding, and using jack chain, strong twine, heavy-duty fishing line.
